Professional Recommendation

Chad C. Hastings, Esq., on Zeinab Arafat

Trial lawyer; founder · Hastings Law Firm, PLLC

BACKGROUND

Chad Hastings has practised personal injury law since 2001 — more than twenty years as a partner at Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith, and now as the founder of Hastings Law Firm, PLLC. He is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest mark for both legal ability and ethical standards, has been named to Super Lawyers every year since 2013, and was listed in Lawdragon's 500 Leading Plaintiffs Lawyers in America for 2025.

Judging accurately whether a person can be trusted to do what they say they will is, by his own description, the job. He has known Zeinab Arafat since 2022, and sends her the clients who ask him where to go.

FROM ZEINA

Chad is a trial lawyer. His job, as he describes it himself, is judging whether a person will actually do what they say they are going to do, and then putting his own name behind that judgment. When he tells a client where to go for medical care, it is his relationship with that client at risk if it goes badly.

We met in 2022, through people we both knew professionally. It started as a working relationship, the way most of ours do, and it did not stay that way. That is usually how I know a working relationship is a good one.

Chad is not sentimental about any of this. He says plainly in his letter that when somebody turns out not to be trustworthy, he stops doing business with them. That is exactly why his recommendation means more to me than a warmer one from someone who hands them out easily.

THE LETTER

For more than twenty years, as a partner at Lesser, Lesser, Landy & Smith and now as the founder of Hastings Law Firm, PLLC, my job has been to judge, accurately, whether a person can be trusted to do what they say they will.
Zeinab Arafat is someone I trust completely, and I want to tell you why I feel that way.
Her expertise and her sheer willingness to help and to do whatever it takes to help patients has been consistent and, frankly, uncommon. I rely on her professionally because she has earned it.
[Someone close to me] had gotten poor advice elsewhere on a health problem that was not resolving. I sent [them] to Zeinab's, True Compassion Urgent Care, and not only were the problems resolved, [they were] listened to and Zeinab went the extra mile to research past prescriptions — which in turn solved the problem.
When clients contact me asking me for a reputable, respected and thorough walk in clinic, I tell them about True Compassion Urgent Care. In four years of client feedback, my clients report unparalleled personal and professional service with Zeinab.

Signed original held on file. Signature and contact details are not published, and the letter itself is not published. One sentence of Mr. Hastings's letter, in which he described his own care, is held back at the request of this site rather than his. Where he described care given to a member of his own family, brackets stand where the relationship was named, and the clinical particulars are left out entirely. Nothing else is changed. It comes down the same day if its author asks — see privacy.
